Submitting To This Site

Material (photographs, articles, news etc) is always needed for the site.

If possible, submissions should be in electronic form and emailed to webmaster@woodturnersofswmo.org

Preferred formats (although about anything can be handled) are;

Photographs
- JPEG
- Bitmap
- Photoshop

Text
- Plain Text
- Rich Text Format
- Microsoft Word

Material in the form of page layout documents (Publisher, Pagemaker etc.) should not be submitted as they have to be broken up in order to construct the web page.

Electronic Photographs should be at the highest resolution available. It is easier to resize and compress a hi-res image than a low-res image. If photographs are not in electronic form, I can scan them. Email me to make arrangements to send them.

There is no need to format text as I'll edit it to fit the space needed.

Large articles may be submitted in Acrobat format or as an HTML page, either hand coded or produced with some other propriety web page construction program. (Don't forget to send the images!)

If time permits, I can type the text from a handwritten or photocopied draft but bear in mind that the material must be your own, I cannot publish copyright material without written permission of the owner. This also applies to photographs.
