WOODTURNERS OF SOUTHWEST MISSOURI May 2006 Newsletter
This months meeting will be May 20th at 9:00 a.m. with a brief business meeting and the scheduled workshop will commence at 9:30 a.m. for the new students as well as any current member that would like some input on a certain tool or technique. Please try to attend as all help and interest will be appreciated.
Don’t forget the upcoming symposium in Louisville, Kentucky. There will be a lot of new information change hands and several new Oneway brand lathes given away.
A Message from the President;
The ArtFest last weekend was as usual rainy and cool for at least one of the days. There was a good turnout on Sunday, and all of that volunteered their time and demonstrated their turning skills on the weekend had a good time. Thanks to you for being there. We have not heard about the Ozark Empire Fair yet, but expect to have space again this year, therefore will need members to demonstrate their skills turning in an air conditioned environment. As the details are available you will get them.
